At Disney’s All-Star Resorts, larger-than-life sports, music and movie icons surround the rooms as Disney's quality and unique styling is everywhere you look. All three hotels are situated close to the Theme Parks, providing a holiday home for rest and relaxation right in the heart of the action. The stage is set at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, as massive figures from your favourite Disney movies take a starring role— from the dotted pups of 101 Dalmations to the playful toys of Andy’s Room. The expansive main pool is inspired by Disney's Fantasia, but if you're looking for something a bit more relaxing - the hockey rink styled pool inspired by The Mighty Ducks film series might be your thing. And the theme continues in the food court as you find yourself in what resembles a grand movie theatre lobby with endless choices to curb your hunger. If being surrounded by Disney movies isn't enough, enjoy watching these films under the stars at night along with campfire activities for all the family to enjoy - a magical way to end the day.

We enjoyed staying at this resort. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. We ate dinner in the main cafeteria area, and we all found things we wanted to eat that were relatively healthy. Our room had two queen beds. I liked how everything was well thought out. There was a lot of counter space, especially in the bathroom. I also appreciated… Read more

The cast members upon greeting us made the welcome so special and really started our trip off perfectly, even in the torrential rains. The resort was fun and we enjoyed our preferred room close to the eatery. The resort is pretty far from other resorts and parks but we had a car so drove to the park each morning which was great. The only downside was the thin walls. I would suggest bringing ear plugs or a white noise machine to other visitors. We were luckily on the top floor so we were lucky to only have people behind us and on both sides of us. I still would stay again, especially if the plan is to enjoy the parks everyday as the room is comfortable and beds incredible to sleep after a long day. Read less
Perfect for first time on-property

My wife and I recently stayed at All-Star Movies around the holidays and really enjoyed it! It was my first time staying on property so I didn't know what to expect, but we had a great time. Staying at one of the more budget conscious resorts might feel like a step down, but Disney still does a fantastic job keeping the magic going. The buildings and rooms are simple, but they are all decked out with characters and themed everywhere you look. I heard the rooms were recently renovated and they were comfortable and very clean. Our only minor complaints was that you could sometimes hear neighbors closing doors or flushing (not enough to keep us up though), and that there wasn't a proper kettle for hot water. If you were spending a lot of time in the room, you might get a little uncomfortable but we were out most of the day. We only ate a few meals in the cafeteria and they were decent. For a lower-tier resort, we were pleasantly surprised. Though I wouldn't recommend eating there every single day, it gets a little repetitive. That being said, my wife has a gluten allergy and they took great care to make sure her food was separated and prepared properly. There were a lot of younger families with lots of kids, but it never bothered us. If you were looking for a quieter / more mature stay, this might not be it for you. If you've never stayed on property, I'd highly recommend any of the All-star resorts. They're very similar and are all located right next to each other. These resorts are located by Animal Kingdom, so Magic Kingdom is about 20 minutes aways. There are buses up front that shuttle to all the main parks as well as Disney Springs. Read less
Good value with all the Disney perks

We stayed in the mighty ducks area which is great as you are very very close to the all star music food court and bus stop so we used those 90% of the time. The room itself was looking a little tired on the floor and the skirting despite the fact they have not long been refurbished. However the bed is comfy and it's relatively cheap! Sound proofing was not good at all however and some days could hear guests having a shower or using the toilet above at 0530. In future I'd request the top floor to avoid this. Cannot fault the buses which were very frequent. As always with disney even in a value it was spotlessly clean and a beautiful. Resort to walk around. Would stay again for sure, definitely request mighty ducks! Read less

The resort was very accommodating - clean & well kept. Our room was updated and very nice. The staff was very helpful. The food court is close & sells a variety of items for everyone. The bus system to the parks was never a long wait. Overall- It’s Disney!! 😊
