Absolutely terrible hotel . Was put up here by virgin as our flights were cancelled. Bugs in the bathroom . Food and service in both outlets was diabolical. No prices on drinks which seemed to fluctuate in price . Stained matress . Disgusting

This hotel has so much to commend it, the location is lovely grounds very attractive with fountain, trees etc. We had a lovely spacious room with everything we needed maybe a bit dated but that wasn't an issue. However we did have some problems. The laundrette dryers were not good, clothes did not dry properly so we reported this to reception who spoke to the manager who did nothing to help other than advise us to call the number in the laundrette for advice. We did not see this as our responsibility the washers and dryers are on hotel property. Many guests may not have the facility to call a USA number. Surely the Manager should have helped with this The worst of this hotel as many have said is the breakfast. Poor selection and always so crowded The staff cannot speak a word of English which is crazy. We had a 28 night stay so the launderette was very important. The location is so good and the housekeeping staff were excellent. We holiday in Florida at least once a year so would we return to this hotel? Currently under consideration. Read less

I had an extremely distressing experience at SpringHill Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village and I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. First, I was stuck in the elevator for nearly an hour. During this time, no one responded to the emergency phone or the ringing alarm. Then, to my horror, the elevator began to fall rapidly. I genuinely thought I wasn’t going to make it out alive. Thankfully, the elevator doors suddenly opened, and I managed to escape. Shaken and terrified, I went to the reception to file a complaint. To my disbelief, no one cared or even showed the slightest concern about what had happened. Adding to this negligence, my supervisor, who was attending the same conference, escalated the issue to Marriott management. Upon further inspection, we discovered that two elevators in the hotel were not up to standard! This is not just a matter of poor service—it’s a serious safety hazard. Staying here could put your life at risk. For your own safety, please do not choose this terrible hotel. Read less
