House keeper took the tip for NOTHING. There were trash and leaves all over the floor, all the things they did was taking tip. (No towel refill, No vacuum) DO NOT leave a tip to House Cleaning when you staying in this hotel. If you like to request house cleaning, call the front desk and let them do it in front of you.

Recent 3 evening getaway from Tampa staying at this relatively new Marriott boutique property, although I have been coming to this particular location when it was under Other managements since the 1970s. So happy to see this wonderfully located spot has finally found what I think is the perfect home under Marriott‘s management. Two particular standouts at the hotel’s front desk/concierge are Jessica M and Jatneil. Upon our 4 PM check-in found that the room was not ready, but they did not disappoint providing us with alternatives to bide our time until said room was available. Throughout our stay we continued to be checked upon by these two employees who most definitely are assets to this location. Another area of note is the hotel restaurant called the American kitchen. Server Ms Imane and bartender Chad care very much about the customers satisfaction and all around enjoyment. I’m a lifelong Floridian and keenly understanding that in our hospitality industry in particular, staffing with exemplary service can be difficult to come by with fewer and fewer people seeking employment in this sector. I can comfortably say with certainty the Marriott Renaissance at Lake Buena Vista is providing A+ quality service with attention to detail in every area included in these four walls. Restaurant serves amazing food and just the kind I like. Chad the day bartender is great and a true professional. Staff is all very helpful and friendly which is refreshing in todays service industry to experience. Keep up the great work. Will gladly return!

The bar staff here were top notch! Karin and Chad always went above and beyond any chance they got duringour 3 day dtay. The food was delicious and the midday happy hour only sweetened the deal. From the snacks to the champagne...Definitely will return!

What a dump. I can take that the hotel is old, dated, not nice at all. I can’t take the poor “service with an attitude” from check-in on. Can’t believe this is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. Jeez I guess you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor spend a little more and get something a little nicer with better staff.
