There are far too many facilities at this marvellous 1,500-acre resort to detail here. The swimming pool is the kind that has kids gasping with wonder - waterfalls, grottos, whirlpools and a 124-ft long water slide tower, as well as a new water jet splash zone and rock climbing areas for kids, creates an aqueous wonderland. On the lake, you can practice kayaking, canoeing, or just simply pedal away toward the sunset. There is even a white sand beach for those waiting to sit back and relax, and 45 holes of top golf, with a pitch 'n' putt for non-golfers to enjoy. There are some great restaurants and bars; the pool bar, On the Rock, is located by Lake Windsong, offering views of the lake and the pool, four 60" TVs, a full service bar and food service options. Leave everything behind to enjoy the happiest of hours under palm tree canopies and moon-drenched evening skies at Four Flamingos, a Richard Blais Florida Kitchen that provides an immersive dining and drinking experience reminiscent of a dreamy, tropical oasis. Be one of the first to enjoy their newest recreational features: New Water slide, Water Jet Splash zone, rock climbing for kids and the pool bar!

Staff is great. Hotel is clean, safe and food is great. The pool area is lovely. They have out door seating at night with fireplaces and the grounds are very well cared for. The Lake House Breakfast is very good. We were not a conference, but it would seem like a great choice.

This hotel was amazing! We stayed for 8 days, and we LOVED our room! The breakfast each morning was delicious, the kids loved the rock climbing; we did it several times during our stay! The gym was well stocked and def would have been great for a workout if we weren't exhausted from chasing 2 kids... haha. Although the weather was on the chilly side, the pool was still a hit and we had a few pool/hot tub days. The service pool side was so nice and the Cypress Rum Runner was delicious! The amenities here are amazing- and my son loved Merlot, the parrot in the lobby. The room was clean & beds were cozy. There was a few different pillow types which was nice so we could find which one we wanted for our stay. We were upgraded to the 18th floor at check in, a view that we loved, and the lobby serves champagne at noon in the lobby each day - this was a nice treat after the parks and my husband and I def appreciated the extra effort by the hotel staff! We would go back any time- this trip was amazing, and this resort was 10/10! Read less
Dated. Dirty. Overpriced plus surprise charges.

Paid $340 for a night then had $80 surprise charges after we arrived (another $40 for 'resort fee' which buys you nothing.... they just want to hide $40 of charges until you arrive). They also charge $40 for the incredibly privileged of parking. Just an example of big corporations doubling prices and halving the quality. Cleaning staff were… Read more

Wonderful resort!

Wonderful resort! The grounds are gorgeous, the amenities are great (especially the pools!), all of the staff members were kind, and the rooms are spacious & updated. We ate at the hotel restaurant which had a nice menu and great service. Loved being able to see the Disney fireworks at night from our room! We will be back!

We stopped over two nights at this resort on our way to our cruise with our young adults kids (ages 19, 22, and 24). It was fantastic - so much to do right on resort. We stopped over two nights at this resort on our way to our cruise with our young adults kids (ages 19, 22, and 24). It was fantastic - so much to do right on resort. It was close to Disney, but plan a day just to be at the resort. You are greeted by their red macaw bird "Merlot" in the lobby, which our young adults loved. The pools are fantastic with grottos, waterfalls, and a slide. We opted to go past the main pool through the caves and to the other side of where there was a more private pool. There were TONS of chairs. I had read that chairs could be a problem, but they were plentiful with nice towels. I had also read that the pools could be cold, but they were nice and warm - we were there on a day that was sunny and high of 60 and never felt cold in the water. Definitely plan to eat at the pool grill. The burgers, fish sandwich, rice bowl and salad were all very good. Drink service by the pool was fantastic too. Our waiter was very attentive and made rounds about every 15 min. But the pool is just the start of it - we climbed the rock wall, played putt putt, and used the hot tub. There were also bicycles, kayaks, and paddle boats. I know the rock climbing and putt putt were not extra, and I believe the bikes, kayaks and paddle boats were also included in the $40 resort fee. Very reasonable for all we did there. There was also hammocks and beach chairs on the sand by the lagoon if you didn't want to be at the pool. The upper decks had lots of fire pits to sit around in the evenings. Overall a fantastic stay. Breakfast is not included and there are no microwaves in the rooms. There is a Starbucks on site with the normal egg bites, scones and muffins, etc. We didn't eat dinner there, but we learned that the restaurant is one of Richard Blais's, so we might choose to eat there on a future trip. The ONLY NEGATIVE is the parking. They want you to valet park. We opted not to, so the self parking is WAY around the hotel. We got our steps in going back and forth. Again, we chose it so no problem, but when you try to get out, the room key wouldn't let you out. It was a huge frustration. As much as you pay to stay there, the parking should be free for hotel guests. Read less
