Set amongst the attractions and entertainment district of International Drive, this award-winning hotel offers a wide range of eateries including fine dining in Jack's Place and buffet breakfast in Cafe Matisse. A 10-minute drive to Universal Orlando Resort™, 15 minutes to Walt Disney World Resort, and across the street from Pointe Orlando which is full of shops, restaurants, clubs and cinema with IMAX® 3D Theatres. Driving time from airport: 20 minutes.

Hotel information

800 guestrooms on 14 floors in 1 building with 6 lifts. All with air-conditioning, 32" flat-screen cable TV with pay-per-view films and video games*, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, iron and board, and hairdryer. Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children with a rollaway bed or cot*.

Please note: Rollaway bed is charged at $20 plus tax per night (payable locally, fee subject to change).

Complimentary daily scheduled transportation to Universal Orlando Resort™ based on shuttle availability and parties of 6 or less (one morning pick-up time, and three return times, 24 hour advance reservations required). The I-RIDE Trolley which runs up and down International Drive, stops right outside the hotel. Complimentary shuttle service to experience the spa* or golf facilities* at Rosen Centre and Rosen Shingle Creek Resorts.

This was our second stay at Rosen Plaza hotel and we had a lovely Christmas holiday there. The pool was heated so we could enjoy an early morning Christmas swim. Everywhere was clean and tidy, parking wasn’t a problem, beds were comfortable and we would happily stay here again

Having vacationed and enjoyed the Rosen Plaza previously, we have been so disappointed in this visit, it was only three days (pre cruise) but we have experienced nothing of the previous delightful service. Having vacationed and enjoyed the Rosen Plaza previously, we have been so disappointed in this visit, it was only three days (pre cruise) but we have experienced nothing of the previous delightful service. On arrival, with four large suitcases , the porter/bellboy walked straight past us, when asked for assistance he basically looked straight through me and walked away, we struggled with the cases to reception, where a very surly receptionist checked us in, no welcome, no information, just a very rude expierence… Going from there, got to the room, we’re tired having been travelling for 16 hours, Tv is on and won’t switch off… about an hour later, someone arrived to help Next morning.. the safety deposit box won’t lock … another hours wait… now I know these things happen… but when I phoned guest relations… no apology, basically no understanding… disappointing Last moan… the basic internet, it’s pathetic, I don’t jest, I’ve been knock out (disconnected) 100s of times and have to log in again… in fact writing this review.. I’ve been disconnected three times.. Positives… the location is excellent, the rooms are clean and spacious, the facilities at the hotel (shops, bars, restaurants ect) are excellent Will we be back? The exceptional service began with Marissa Lewis, Conference Center Sales Manager, whose professionalism and expertise made the planning process seamless. Monica Pena, Convention Services Manager, ensured every logistical detail was executed perfectly, delivering an event that was both polished and impactful. Lastly, Amir Jazayeri, Banquet Manager, led an outstanding team that provided impeccable service during the convening, ensuring our attendees felt cared for at every turn. Each team member brought professionalism, thoughtfulness, and a willingness to go the extra mile. The event spaces were beautifully maintained, and the catering was both delicious and thoughtfully executed. Overall very friendly staff from check in to security and all food service. Very good choice of food. A very big pool with lots of space and sun beds and of course plenty of towels. Spotless everywhere including rooms with great pillows. Very clean hotel and vert well maintained.

I organized a dinner for 30 people at Jack's Place Restaurant in December 2024. The experience was excellent, and the food was delicious. The staff was communicative in the lead-up to the event and very easy to collaborate with. Would definitely recommend Jack's Place for a large group or solo dining if in the area.
