The hotel

Looking to do your Miami vacation in style? Look no further. The meticulously designed Miami Beach EDITION offers beachfront luxury combined with the stylish, cool vibes that scream Miami. With a range of rooms available, it's the bungalows that really stick out to us - they offer that bit more room and privacy in the resort, and you can even upgrade to one with a private plunge pool on your terrace if you fancy. Now when it comes to dining, you have to experience the innovative dishes in the Matador Room, designed by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. But don't worry, there's plenty of casual options too, and you can even enjoy food and drinks from Tropicale on the comfort of your sun lounger. Now Miami isn't short of bars and entertainment, but if you're sticking close to home, take a trip down to the BASEMENT, where you can bowl, drink and even ice-skate your night away.

The edition is a very nice hotel with a great ambiance. However, I found it to be too expensive for what it offers. The room service charges are simply absurd, however the food is good. The front desk is great, but it seems like they struggle to keep up with demand. Most times, there was a big line. The bell boys and the staff at the entrance… Read more

The bell boys and the staff at the entrance are absolute sweethearts and very helpful, o can’t thank them enough. All in all, the edition is a good choice. Read less

We booked our hotel through Amex that, amongst many benefits, offers early check-in (when available) and, in case, the room ready no later than 4pm. We chose one of the best suites that, even if much more expensive, it seemed to offer much more space, better view, etc. We live in Miami, for us it was supposed to be a relaxing stay-cation, so we called since early morning to know if the early check-in was a possibility. We called 3 times and talked with 3 different people, including front desk. Nobody was able to give us a time. We decided to go at 2pm and enjoy the restaurant, fully aware that we might have to wait till 4pm. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel was understaffed: nobody helped us at the entrance with the luggages, nobody opened a door for us, the line to check in was long and extremely slow. Of course our room wasn’t available but - again - they had no idea when it would have been! We ask confirmation that 4pm is the latest time and the reply was “it should be…” They had our phone number but nobody tried to keep us informed while it was already 4pm. We ask for explanations and they looked lost, the room was not ready yet, they didn’t know when it would have been. They kept calling we don’t know whom (cleaning service? Someone else) but the feedback was always vague. Around 4٫15/4٫20 they inform us that the room will be ready after 5pm, but - again - they are not so sure about that. We cancelled, got a full refund and came back home. This hotel is not at standard of a 4 star hotels (let alone a 5 star) and we will never go back again. What a disappointment. Read less

OMG! WOW! WOW! WOW! I am simply speechless. I went to celebrate my birthday and had an OUTSTANDING massage from Jose. I loved the ambience. It was so private and exclusive. I was treated like royalty. If you want to spoil yourself with VIP treatment...this place is absolutely worth it. I felt brand new; restored my soul. Enjoy!
