I had a BAD DAY traveling, flight delays, a lost credit card, a snafu upon check-in… But the hotel manager was very nice to work with, and took care of my situation with ease. I was so relieved. I would like to share my experience at the Edec Roc in Miami Beach. The hotel , the room, the pool area, the beach service were all amazing, we loved our stay. I also would like to mention the service received from a front desk agent. His name is Joao, also from Brazil, where I am from. I have traveled to several places around the world and stayed at many high end hotels. But João stood out in a special way, not just because of his impeccable service, but also for his genuine care and, most importantly, his constant smile when interacting with people. What really caught my attention was how he always greeted me with such joy. Every time we crossed paths, he would say with a smile, “Good morning, how are you?” and when I responded, he would reply, “Everything is excellent!” – but in such a unique, enthusiastic, and charismatic way. I run a business in Brazil, and I can see that the market needs more people like him – proactive, friendly, and passionate about what they do. It’s clear that João loves his job. I even thought, “This young man will be very successful, I wish I could have him in my team!” So, my rating for the hotel and for him is 10 stars ⭐️ Thanks for making my vacation so pleasant and relaxing. Jamecia - also known as meme ! She was our server on the beach. From the minute my husband and I met her she was FABULOUS. She was attentive and so personable. I told the manager Jose he needed to give her a raise or promotion. Her social and customer service skills can not be taught ! The beach was full this day and she gave the same attention and service to everyone. Our drinks came out almost instantly which was awesome on a hot day. Thank you Jamecia to make sure we were taken care of, you are the best at what you do!! Fabulous!!!! Milka - nobu pool- Milka was fabulous! She was working the whole pool alone and make sure everyone was taken care of. She was bubbly and smiley all day! She was quick and super sweet ! Thank you for the amazing service Milka! Marta - the sweetest ! She was working the gelato stand ! It was a windy day and she went to get the gelato just for us! She had a smile the whole time and had great customer service ! So personable and patient. Jose pool supervisor - Jose was amazing! He makes sure his guest are happy throughout the day. For example, they had an event happening which required two of the pools to close down. Because of this, he allowed guest to use the nobu pool which was lovely. He also waived our umbrella fee which I thought was such a nice touch, it’s the little things that make you remember you stay. By him doing that for my husband made us feel special! I will definitely stay here again my next visit to Miami. This hotel was the perfect luxury experience for a much needed vacation. I can’t forget to mention the views of my room from the 19th floor were breathtaking and my host Jullian was the sweetest and the absolute best! Any concern I had, Jullian was always so kind and helpful. We need more people like this when we are on vacation and need help navigating.
