A superb hotel in a stunning location, the Hilton Miami Airport overlooks a natural lagoon teeming with tropical birds. Where to begin. Worst hotel stay in our lives for $400 per night with 3٫5 Stars rating. By comparison Hampton Inn just down the road with 4٫5 stars and was $340. We will be staying at Hampton next trip cruise trip out of Miami. We got to the hotel at 9:30 PM tired from flying all day. There was a line waiting at the front desk (we were in the middle) from our shuttle from the airport of about and we were the people. The 1st negative Customer Service was after 20 minutes one of the 3 desk clerks finally got to us because they seemed confused and slow. We received our Key Cards, went up to our room and the Cards didn’t work because they were slot cards and not chip cards. Hotel was changing over to chip cards and we got caught in the transition. WTF! I went down to the front desk to get the chip hotel key cards. To sum up, every customer service interaction was negative like the staff was doing us a favor even talking to us. Hotel is dated. Our room had obvious flooding issues in the bathroom. To top it off, we went to breakfast and waited about 20 minutes during which times others behind us went first because apparently the Hotel staff favored parties of 3 or more when empty tables were all over the place. Nice room, but we had to wait 2 hours for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. After calling the hotel several times, & the shuttle passing us by twice, the driver slowed down as he went by to tell us his bus was full & please walk to a lower number gate. Nice room, but we had to wait 2 hours for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. After calling the hotel several times, & the shuttle passing us by twice, the driver slowed down as he went by to tell us his bus was full & please walk to a lower number gate. Some people walked a very long distance to be able to get a seat on the shuttle. On the phone at first, they told us they were coming every half hour, but then they said the shuttle would return in 6 minutes. After a long day of travel, standing in the heat & exhaust fumes as it got dark & missing dinner wasn't our plan. Read less

One of the worst experiences by now. Our reservation was canceled despite the fact that we called the day before our arrival to check if everything was alright. They told us that it was Booking.com that cancelled the reservations but we made it by ourselves. Also the staff was being rude from the very first. Moreover, the rooms were not well-mantained and the cleaning was poor although we asked for room service everyday. The food from the breakfast was also not the best one for that high price and also you have to wait a long time to get your breakfast table and by the time you arrive there's barely any food left. I stayed here for 2 nights, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day before going on a cruise. The 2nd night I had to switch rooms twice. The first time was due to a fairly large water leak in the bathroom ceiling. The second time was due to cockroaches. The first time was due to a fairly large water leak in the bathroom ceiling. The second time was due to cockroaches. It was 2:00 in the morning and when we went into the hall to go to front desk the fire alarm was going off in the lobby and I couldn't go down the elevator. I finally got down there and the manager said he couldn't do anything for me because I booked through Priceline. He gave me another room and the people in my room free breakfast the next morning. I called Priceline when I got back from my cruise. They had to call the hotel to get a refund approved and the hotel denied it. I would NOT stay here ever again!!! Read less

I would like to inform you about my stay in your hotel from 26.12.2024-1.1.2025. I am writing this at 3 a.m on the day of my checkout after coming into my room and finding out it has not been cleaned at all just like EVERY SINGLE DAY OF MY STAY. Do you think that this is a joke? No, it is not. It is the reality of how this hotel runs. 2 days after my arrival I went to the reception to complain about no one cleaning my room and changing towels or anything. I spoke to the front office manager, he basically told me this is normal and that I have to announce that I want to get my room cleaned so I told him to make a note that I want my room cleaned every day like in every normal hotel that costs 280USD a night (by the way it would be great if someone told how me it works at the reception when I arrived, this way I was waiting for nothing) If i did not want my room cleaned I would put on the Do not disturb sign…anyway this has repeated itself everyday day until the last day. I spoke with 3 front office managers and the result was the same every time. Just excuses and nothing was improved. After all this I demanded 2 nights off the total price. Because this stay was an absolute tragedy from the side of the hotel management, I felt like this was an adequate compensation to balance out the terrible service. Managers told me that it is absolutely off the table, they would only do in-house compensation like free parking, free bottle or free breakfast. I do not care about that. I am paying for a service that is supposed to be kept by the hotel. That service has not been done once like it was supposed to. So I think 2 nights off the total price is adequate for the that kind of embarrassment and failure the hotel management has done for themselves. Everytime I came down to the reception I felt disgusted because I knew the management does not really care about it and that is just sad. Just empty words and excuses. To the last day of my stay the shower gel and toilet paper has not been refilled. Overall the hotel feels old. There is a lot of used things like damaged door frames torn bed sheets. Read less
