My wonderful experience with diamond cliff has literally forced me to write this review 😊 First a big thanks to the whole staff of diamond cliff for making our trip memorable. My trip started with a glitch where my daughter fell sick and we had to push our travel date ahead for a day. As my booking were non refundable so I thought the entire one night money which was around 9k baht was lost. But when I spoke to the Diamond cliff team they literally helped us and credit that amount to our room account. So whatever expenses were linked to our stay that got adjusted from that account. Like we had meals, Spa, room pantry stuff. Adding some feedback on the room and facilities 1) resorts pictures on internet doesn't do justice to the resort. It's really beautiful. Especially the waterfall pool. 2) Spa- I had aromatherapy massage and foot massage which was incredible. 3) food - desert Trasimu and hot brownie - must try. For Vegetarian - order margarita pizza and ask them to add tomatoes, bell peppers and you are good to go 4) daily you got 1 kg fresh fruit which was pretty interesting and yummy. 5) amazing shuttle services as rooms are in the cliff. You don't have to wait 6) good location- patong beach nearby , Indian restaurant is at walkable distance. That's it for now. Thanks team for the amazing experience. Read less

Alacarte meals were available lunch and dinner but you had to pay extra for the buffet on certain nights, which is clearly not all inclusive! The Thai restaurant was closed and the Japanese restaurant only provided Bentos boxes. I have 3 children (10-13yrs) and the bar located near the slide and bigger pool area was conveniently the bar you had to pay for drinks and food. So if I wanted a drink , even a bottle of water i had to walk down a tremendous amount of stairs whilst it is wet and slippery to get my kids a drink. This makes no sense why not just make the main pool area free for drinks only. The rooms are dated, they are not cleaned very well at all, floors are not cleaned, sheets not changed. No iron to use. Oh my God the beds are like sleeping on concrete I have never stayed at a supposed 5* hotel where you can sleep better on a sunbed, ridiculous! Our air con unit was leaking at night, every morning we woke upto a puddle on the floor. It took the hotel 4 days to fix. The hotel is currently under construction, workmen, building materials, drilling, fumes are an all day occurrence. The restaurant, bar and security staff are very friendly and kind. However the Hotel management were really no help. There is no day activities for children, no entertainment whatsoever. Only 1 nightly entertainment twice a week, which is the same fire show on a Monday and Thursday. This hotel is not the place to be if you have any mobility issues, yes there are shuttles and lifts but they only get you so far. If you happen to have a room located further up the cliff then you will have a long stair walk to contend with. Lucky for us everyone is mobile. It is like wacky racers outside the hotel, there is a designated security guard to help you cross the road!!! You are risking your life everytime you attempt to cross to the beach. No one wants to stop and drive straight through the crossing with you and your children on it! The traffic is so bad here it's best to walk everywhere you can. The beach is not nice across from the hotel, beat to walk left to Patong beach and swim there, however be prepared to be stung by small jellyfish. People and food are lovely but the rest is just chaos! Also the beach towels are not cleaned very well potentially just tumble dried only as full of nasty stains. Read less

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel staff so friendly and helpful, nothing seemed a bother. But as you may have realised by other comments it is on a hill so not ideal for anyone with a mobility issue, hill and steps. However they do have a shuttle bus that runs every few minutes taking you further up the resort ,which was great. Location - was ideal for us just a 10/15 min walk to the main area of Patong which we really enjoyed as I'm not sure if I would like to have stayed in the centre due to how busy it can be. As mentioned there is a busy road to cross outside of the hotel but there was a guard there helping you cross the road. Rooms - where large, bright and clean and a very comfy large bed. Housekeeping did a good job each day. We had an issue with the AC from the begiining which we thought they had fixed but it gradually got worse again so they tried to replace the AC unit again that didn't work. They did ask if we wanted to move rooms but we only had a few days left and I couldn't be bothered to pack our stuff up and move to another room. The reception representive (Freeze) was so helpful and tried to make it all good but it was out of his control, he couldn't do enough for us. Thnak you Pools - lovely and kept well however I would say the pool at the waterfall the sunbeds were getting a bit tired so they should get changed. We couldn't understand why the drinks at both pools were differently priced as you were gettibg the same thing. Food differed as well. Gtounds/building - All kept really well, clean and tidy the staff take pride in the work they do. Breakfast - very good, plenty to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to others. Read less
