The hotel is a hotel with history and is over 120 years old.They have done amazing in making such a old palace into a luxury hotel.I over the years I have stayed in the palace wing with sea view rooms and it is truly outstanding.It also has a next level Chinese restaurant called Golden Dragon

Excellent stay in this hotel. Superior service nd fantastic installations. Several restaurants, all very high level. Cannot think of anything to be improved. Would come back for sure if I will visit Mumbai in the future. Congratulations to the whole team

Outstanding Stay with Impeccable Service. I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Taj Mahal Palace. The service was top-notch, from the friendly and professional. But the front desk team was not helpful from the time we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I specially want to mention gayatri at the Taj club Lounge - Gayatri was very attentive from the beginning of our stay. I especially enjoyed the Lounge facilities. She really helped us with all the access to the lounge and made our stay so pleasant and we were happy with the sweet gesture of her also the security people were helpful After our checkout we went to the lounge to meet her and inform her that our flight got delayed very sweetly she offered us hi tea . I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again for my future visits! Read less

We had a fantastic experience at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. It is a heritage hotel with history of events, some of which occurred before India's independence. This hotel has hosted dignitaries (presidents and prime ministers, cabinet members, kings and queens, celebrities, musicians, sports teams to name a few). This is located right across from iconic The Gateway of India and within walking distance from attractions (General Post Office, Bombay University, High Court, Victoria Terminus, Church Gate Station, Marine Drive, Nariman point). The lounge services and amenities were great. Complementary heritage tour (tour guide: Percy) enhanced our appreciation of historic events held at this hotel. Service provided by all staff member was fantastic. Duty Manager (Dhruv) provided excellent services to make sure our stay was memorable and concierge manager (Ransom) helped arranged tour transportation services on a short notices for us.
