The hotel

Relaxation and tranquility is what you’ll find at this laidback boutique hotel on the golden shores of Grace Bay. But the resort’s major highlight is the spectacular coral reef just 20 yards from the shore – perfect for both experienced and novice divers alike. It’s not just snorkelling you can enjoy at the Windsong, there’s a range of complimentary activities on offer including kayaks, glass bottom boats, and bicycle rental for you to get out and explore the surrounding areas, both on land and sea! Many of the room types have kitchenettes or even fully equipped kitchens so you can cook up a storm for the family. But if you fancy a bit less work, Dune offers beachfront dining with fresh dishes cooked to perfection. After dinner enjoy a cocktail under the stars in the hotels outdoor seating area and savour that warm weather.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Friendliest and cleanest place ever! You're created everywhere with a smile. Best vacation I ever had. This was gifted to me for Christmas from my daughter. We both enjoyed it. Everything you need is there. The beach, the lounge chairs, plenty of towels, and great service. I would recommend Windsong!

Here are some details that I hope will be helpful for others: Location: - beautiful Grace Bay, right in front of a great snorkeling reef - it is on the narrowest strip of the beach, so during high tide in particular it can get a bit tight - if you walk a few minutes to the left or right, it gets way wider! And I realized you can easily walk all the way to the main drag almong the beach (Regent Village), I would say in about 35mins - it's a bit away from the main area, but a quick 10min taxi ride to pretty much anywhere. - 15mns drive to the airport, so easy! Rooms: - nice, clean, big - rooms are being serviced twice a day, once for regular cleanup, and then in the evening they do a turn-down service, which was nice and felt very luxurious Activities etc: - they run a shuttle to the grocery store daily at 4pm, for $10. Definitely worth it, although it's just a 5min drive. Rooms have kitchens, so if you want to keep your food bill down (food is really expensive everywhere, even the store), it's worth it. Pro tip: you can get in touch with the concierge (Gary was great!) beforehand apparently, we didn't, and ask them to get groceries for you, so your kitchen is stocked as you arrive. Next time we will definitely do that! - great snorkeling right out front, and you can rent gear for ~$6 per day at the hotel - they can organize all kinds of activities for you. Parasailing, someone will pick you up at the beach, $89 per person, super fun. - They have a few kayaks and stand up paddle boards and a small hobie cat you can take out for free. - kayaking trip through the mangroves to see the turtles was one of the highlights for all of us, well worth the $ ($130ish per person) - we did not use the pool, but there is a big one by the beach and another small one in the back. Kids seemed to have a lot of fun Food: - There is a restaurant on site. Expensive. Lunch was great. We had dinner once and it was expensive and mediocre. - Breakfast (continental, decent) is included, you can add on if you want eggs or other proteins. - A 2min walk down the beach is "Somewhere", which has breakfast/lunch/dinner. Food was outstanding, pricing reasonable (compared to other places), great atmosphere, super friendly staff, and the view is hard to top. - all other places are a cab ride away, pretty much anything 10-15mins, so not bad Transportation: - Lots of private taxi services. They are all super nice and will give you their information so you can call them if you need a ride back to whereever they took you. - Pricing is a great range. For a 10/15min drive we paid anywhere between $18 and $42. It might be worth renting a car and parking at the hotel for free. Gas is insanely expensive though Staff: - everyone was wonderful, super friendly (should out to Gary the concierge, everyone at breakfast, and Kelli (sp?) and Omar at the beach. They took such great care of us Read less

We moved to the available oceanfront 2nd story, also two bedroom two bath full living room and kitchen. Although we did not cook for ourselves, would be great for that! Staff was great! Beach is beautiful, never crowded. Snorkel right from the beach. Small bar with fun bartenders! Free limited breakfast with reasonable upgrades. Food was good with beach dinner night one of our nights. Free Bikes, we did ride down to the northern Providenciales area (shops, etc) about 4 miles away and walked about the same distance on the beach to the South. The Island is not really walkable by road and if you are looking for entertainment, this is not the place. Really peaceful. Read less

I had a fantastic stay in a one bedroom, oceanfront suite at the Windsong. Pros: -The location is amazing. The hotel is only several floors, and oceanfront means oceanfront. Our suite was right on Grace Bay Beach and within a one minute walk to the pool and beach area. -The beach is beautiful, pristine and right at the edge of a coral reef full of tropical fish for snorkeling. -The staff was incredibly pleasant. Almost everyone I encountered was hospitable, friendly and ready to ensure that me and my daughter had a great stay; -The suite was spacious, had two bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, etc. and it was the right space for a seven day stay; -The cabanas are free; I’ve stayed a lot of places and cabanas on the beach are usually for a fee even after you’ve spent an arm and a leg, so this was welcome; -the pickup for most excursions is right on the beach next to the hotel so it’s very convenient; -The view, the view, the view-there’s a balcony off of the bedroom area and the living area and it’s all ocean. -Convenient cab service to and from anywhere on the island can be easily arranged. Cons: -There’s only one restaurant so there aren’t a variety of dining options for food. They do have full kitchens in the suites and a daily shuttle to the grocery store. I don’t come on vacation to cook though so if you’re like me, you’ll dine off property. -The shower pressure is low and the water is not piping hot. The handheld is convenient for getting sand off however. -the pool area is not super large. There were always a lot of kids playing so I didn’t use the pool. I preferred the ocean that was just steps away. -The ceiling does carry sound. I had active guests over me and they made quite a bit of noise. All in all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I’m an excursion person but the beach, the water and the snorkeling were so outstanding that we stayed on property for three of our days enjoying the amenities. Read less

Terrific resort experience. The facility is not too big but has all the amenities. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The beach has plenty of seating and is right on the water. There is a small reef just offshore though most of it is blocked off to protect it. You can still see plenty of fish around the edges of the reef.
