From the moment we checked in to the day of departure, the hotel and service could not have been better. Telly and the bellmen made us feel welcome with a property tour and also pointing out local attractions, grocery store and guiding us through our room. The first night we dined at Cassa Nonna where our waiter recommended the fresh pasta. The food was exceptional. Everyone in our party of 5 felt the food was amongst the best pasta we’ve ever had. Each morning we ate at Coralle for breakfast. The buffet was exceptional but even better was the service provided by Latoya. Her service was prompt and attentive. She remembered our daughters’ names and preferences and made them feel like little princesses. Even when we were seated in another server’s area she told them our drink preferences and had our beverages delivered to our table before we could even ask. She found a cup with lid and straw for our youngest daughter and made sure we had no spills. Her service was the definition of hospitality and made everyone in our group feel special as a result of her attention to every detail, efficiency, and ability to read our table. We also spent significant time on the beach and by the pool. The pool attendants, especially Roody and MJ, were attentive friendly and efficient. They set up kids lounges for our youngest daughter and got her apple juice in a champagne flute so she’d feel grown up and special. They brought popsicles, drinks, and watermelon throughout the day as treats for everyone on the pool deck. When our daughter fell asleep on me, they brought extra towels to help keep us comfortable and protected from the sun throughout our nap. On the beach, the attendants and service were efficient. They have beach toys for the kids that pleased our 2 sandcastle builders. Prior to check in I read all of the reviews and I was nervous, but this was a beautiful, clean resort with exceptional service. Read less

The location is great. The rooms were just rooms. Service was pretty much non existent. I thought that we were having troubles communicating but it turns out the majority of the staff just didn't care. The wow factor just wasn't there. This is not a Ritz Carlton other than the name.

This is our second time staying at the Ritz in this beautiful island. You could stay practically anywhere and enjoy the gorgeous water and peaceful beach. However, if you are willing to spend the money that is charged here, I recommend going elsewhere. The rooms are beautiful and clean but we aren’t coming to Turks to stay in the room. The service is terrible, and you might come across one pleasant server/bartender. My husband and I like to lay at the end of the row on the beach to be away from noise, distractions, etc. ( after all, we are on vacation) . I do not advise that at all. I began my day on the beach at 10:45 am and a server came one time ( took our food order) and 4 hours later brought our bill. My husband asked for a cup of ice that never came of course. What is most concerning - there was a party of approximately 20 adults and kids who were so loud (why we had to go to the end of the row of chairs) and commandeered the servers each day. That could have essentially been the reason for our lack of service. We learned the party paid to have the same chairs and servers each day. Regardless of the reason, the service is unacceptable. On a positive note, Calvin was quite the gentleman and was wonderful with setting up our chairs and towels. It was after that things go downhill. My husband and I spent most of the trip walking the beach finding other resorts to book for our next trip. I recommend conducting your own research before booking the Ritz. Read less
