Windjammer Landing boasts stunning grounds with beautifully maintained gardens and breathtaking views. The lush surroundings truly make it feel like a tropical paradise, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the property looking its best. The staff were warm, friendly, and eager to help, which added a nice personal touch to our stay. However, there were a few aspects that held the experience back from being exceptional. Such as our room was in need of a face lift, rust on the bathroom blind, stains and cracked tiles and a pile of rust on the bathroom floor from the door hinges, windows that were difficult to open and close. While the resort has great potential, some areas felt a bit dated and in need of modernisation. Additionally, certain services and amenities didn’t quite meet expectations; Billing is something I’d advise travellers to keep an eye on, there were a few items added to our bill that weren’t ours and some added that we paid cash for, the frustration of having to sort these little things out takes the shine off, which was disappointing for the price point. We booked through Kuoni who list this resort as 4 stars, and I would say it’s just about able to post that rating. Overall, a lovely setting with pleasant staff, but there’s room for improvement to match the calibre of its surroundings. Read less

Stunning location, great range of sporting facilities - gym., tennis, watersports (sailing, water skiing etc), well appointed villas with great views - particularly those further up the hill side. Friendly and helpful staff, the beach is great for children and the swimming is superb.

The staff are 100% lovely and helpful, the service is excellent in all areas except perhaps some housekeeping issues. Things like we (mother/daughter) we're given a small double bed to share for 10 days, we immediately requested a twin and after several hours got it. By this time we were exhausted but had to wait up as the room had neither a kettle nor a working phone (necessary for shuttle to get out your room as the resort is all in steep hills). Fortunately I could contact them by whatsapp regarding the phone problem and lack of kettle. They eventually came with a mobile phone and even later a kettle. Some of the sockets in the room were not working. The pillows seemed full of stones. The eateries are all excellent and they are happy to suit your needs and wants. We had to ask for things like tea and creamer to be restocked. The hot tub was never at the right temperature, always either too cold or scalding, they don't seem to test the water and guests just go in to the cupboard and fiddle with the settings themselves which I'm sure doesn't help, but some regulation to make it usable would have been nice. We had a wonderful experience during our 7 night stay during the first week in January. We cannot say enough about the friendly and helpful service we received from the entire staff.! it was our first visit to St Lucia, I would go so far as to say these were the friendliest people we have ever encountered. The property was immaculate. It was peaceful and beautiful. We could reserve the same beach lounges for the entire week. Every evening there was live entertainment at the central pool area, and at Papa Don's restaurant. Excellent artists! It was never too loud. With 5 restaurants, pools and a beautiful beach, you have everything you need . The bay is calm and safe. I booked a snorkeling tour with the excursion office, and it was a fantastic day out! The hotel provided transportation to and from the dock. I give them 4 stars only because the resort is self contained, but there is no way to walk out to eat or shop. If you want to do that you have to take a cab to the closest town, Castries. The other thing is the water at the beach is cloudy. I was hoping to be able to snorkel off the beach. These are small issues! We did not choose all inclusive, just breakfast. Even after paying for our other meals and drinks, it still was less than it would have cost for all inclusive. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Back of house staff leave a lot to be desired

First off, front of house great. Staff warm and friendly and no issues. Let's talk back of house. First morning we reported that the patio doors would not close and there was a leak in the wash basin. Fully expected them to be dealt with straight away. Next day, nothing. Again reported. Between ourselves and the rep we reported the issues four times. On our penultimate day we gave up faced with such indifference. Seems customer safety and security is pretty way down the list at Windjammer. Read less
