We had a wonderful time at Harbor Club for NYE. Our group of 8 had come to the resort for the day using ResortPass (we were staying on a catamaran in the nearby marina) and upon check in, the team let us know they were preparing for their NYE party that night which we could get tickets for. After spending our day at the pool and enjoying the great pool food and clean bathroom, we decided to get the NYE party tickets and we are SO glad we did! Between the live entertainment, AMAZING food spread (sushi station, lobster station, salad bar, local cuisine, etc.), all you could drink alcoholic beverages, fireworks show, and 5 star service from every team member we encountered, it was well worth the price! Every worker had a smile on their face and was so welcoming to our group. If you are looking for something to do on NYE in 2025, I would highly recommend Harbor Club's party to anyone in town whether you are staying at the property or not! Read less

We ate a disastrous meal at Julia’s at the end of our holiday in St Lucia, at the end of December. It was clear that the staff had not been trained to cope with problems. I ordered a Bouillabaisse as a main course with rice and peas as a side. I took one mouthful of the fish stew and knew it was far too spicy for me to eat anymore. It burnt the inside of my mouth. Our waiter whisked the plate away but failed to take the rice with him. After a 20-minute wait, I was fairly fed up. My husband had finished his meal. We called over one of the staff and asked what had happened to the Bouillabaisse. Two or three minutes later it did arrive, but of course the rice was cold. My husband called over another member of staff, who happened to be a supervisor, to explain the situation. Despite the fact I repeatedly told the supervisor I would eat the rice cold, she snatched the bowl of rice away to take it back to the kitchen. I still did not have a complete meal. I now realise that this was the point that I should have got up from the table and walked away. However, I nibbled away at the stew, waiting for the rice to reappear. After a wait of around 7 or 8 minutes, my husband asked to see the restaurant manager. She did not apologise for the situation; and I have no idea if she went to the kitchen to find out about the side of rice. A few minutes later, when the rice arrived (the bowl had not been cleaned), I had eaten around two thirds of the main course. It was delivered by yet another member of staff. I managed to eat one spoonful of rice and felt so fed up about having to complain about my meal so many times, that I left the rest of the fish stew. We had been seen by four members of staff. Not one of those staff apologised, or came back to the table to ask if the problem had been rectified. About 10 minutes later, our waiter returned to ask if we wanted a dessert. We were so exasperated by then, my husband asked for the bill. It arrived with a 10 % service charge. My husband said that he was not satisfied about having to pay for service we had not received and asked to see the manager. After another long wait, when no one came to see us, we felt that we were being totally ignored. At this point we left our table, walked to the front desk, and asked to see the Duty Manager. Eventually the Duty Manager, a Lew Prudent arrived. We explained our total disappointment with the meal, but above all at the terrible service we had experienced. We said that we had not experienced value for money, the duty manager replied that since I had consumed part of the meal, he was not prepared to offer any reduction to the bill. We tried to explain that in our view the biggest issue was the quality of service and the failure of the staff to handle what should have been a minor problem. He refused to acknowledge that there was any shortcoming with the staff. It was clear that we were wasting our time trying to give him any feedback on our experience he didn't seem to want to listen. So, we paid and left, vowing never to return to the Harbour Club. It was a shame, because over the years, we had had many other satisfactory visits there. Read less
