You won't find a better place to stay. Anywhere. This little Boutique-by-the-beach location is exquisite, caters to your every need, is safe, friendly and surrounded by lovely gardens. Where-ever you walk you'll see something beautiful, whether it is the hummingbirds, some new flower, or the Beach itself. Very private and relaxed, the sunchairs are extremely high-quality with excellent padding and are under fixed-post thatched umbrellas. Waitstaff will gladly bring you any drink or snack, and they loved my new Mocktail! (ask for La Zo and see if you like it too) The rooms have everything you need, and the sunken-in showers are a delight. Bed is super comfy, good sized spaces for hanging, luggage racks, bathroom spaces etc. On arrival my bed and the whole room and bathroom were decorated with flowers grown on site and changed a few times for fresh ones. It was a magical holiday. I wish I could live there. The restaurant is excellent and I'm told lots of people from nearby resorts come just for the all-inclusive drinks and meal menus. Very fair price. The restaurant staff are very accomodating. You'll love the changes in menu every day and the fresh fruit blends they offer at breakfast. I didn't want to leave the grounds at all but I did take a tour on a yacht which went down to Soufriere, and we had the mud experience and the waterfall and then snorkelling in the afternoon, with lunch provided by East Winds kitchen. Far better than I was expecting, it was a truly lovely day. The musical entertainment is quite varied and I enjoyed every performer, however, they have a Pianist who is most extremely talented and makes any evening a highlight of your stay. Just sitting in the Hexagonal Bar, with the Book Exchange and the Orchids can be a pleasant way to spend the day, but I confess the gentle tides and the pink lounge chairs called me again and again. The water is truly emerald in colour, and due to the little bay, easy and gentle to swim or float in. The Yoga room which caters to pilates etc is a huge, wooden decked- open space and I enjoyed the walking tour of the Garden with Sylvanus very much indeed. I am counting the days until my return. I won't stay anywhere else in St Lucia. Read less

We stayed 13 years ago and it gets better each time. The decor is beautiful, food is gorgeous, entertainment is wonderful, rooms are lovely and spacious, but most importantly the staff from the management down are the best you could have in our opinion. They are so attentive and make you feel so very special. We can’t wait to visit again hopefully for my 71st birthday. I would love to name some staff that stood out, but as all the staff we met were so lovely the list would be too long. Thanks for the best holiday ever. Read less

I have to be completely honest about East Winds boutique hotel, it’s absolutely wonderful, from our arrival where we were greeted with a lovely cocktail and super friendly welcome to our fabulous superior cottage, I found this location perfect and on the flat, the deluxe cottages we’re up a slight incline, the other thing to know before you go is getting in and out of the sea, can be tricky, but even with my mobility issues I managed to have a lovely relaxing swim each day , perfection at its best, And I have to mention the staff, they helped to make our holiday magical, a shout out to Mickel at the pool bar,Sylvia Titus, Kirby, Jermaine for our amazing food, kerwin … and many many more, I’m sorry if I’ve missed you off, but you are all amazing , we can’t wait to return in October. Wow! We decided to get married at this venue and we couldn’t have chosen better. Staff 5 star. Accommodation 5 star. Beach 5 star. Food 5 star. It’s hard to know how our experience could be bettered. Maybe a little less rain, but even with that the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Staff training must be awesome because the EW staff achieve that mixture of individual service without being over familiar. Now a few do’s and donts Don’t fly BA from Gatwick business. It’s a complete and utter customer nightmare. No choice of food on an old rickety plane. Try complaining to BA and you’ll be answered by a ‘bot. Shocking service shocking customer support. Plane staff onboard embarrassed. Save your money Airport to hotel shuttle- during the day 1-25 duration ish If you arrive on the 10 am Garwick flight you’ll have a 2hr plus trip through traffic after you arrive at 1510. Castries is a traffic nightmare. But East winds is a must if you’re in the 40 plus age bracket. It’s quiet and tranquil. If you’re after a boom boom disco pool time this isn’t the place. Try Sandals.
