Had an excellent meal on Thursday. The food was of exceptional quality, and the evening enhanced by our server Crystal, who was very efficient, attentive, and very friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful and provided a great backdrop to a very pleasant evening.

Incredible Stay at Sandals Dunn's River!

We had a truly incredible experience at Sandals Dunn's River!! We were there in December 2024 and stayed in the Tufa Terrace One Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. Some elements of the room to highlight: - Spacious room without being unnecessarily big - Day bed in front of the window but inside was lovely for lounging and wanting a view but also AC! - Bathroom was amazing and luxurious - Infinity pool on the balcony was so amazing! Beware if you're traveling in the winter, however, because the sun doesn't really ever reach the pools and so they're a bit chilly Some elements of the resort to highlight: - Really appreciated the size of the resort - super walkable and easy to get around - The restaurants were all INCREDIBLE. The food was truly so delicious - the best we've had at a Sandals resort thus far. Our favorites were Hanami and Cascata. & special shoutout for Blum coffee!!! - The pools were so great - swim up options, close proximity to lunch choices, etc. - Loved the shuttle to get over to Ochi for the night! We got married there, and so getting to pop over and reminisce and see Lady Sashay (the BEST!) was a fantastic extra Some fantastic staff to highlight: - First and foremost, our incredible butler team - R&R!!! Reynaldo & Roger-Neil were the most amazing butlers truly - they were extremely responsive and helpful and anticipated things we would like before we even thought about it! We really wanted mimosas on the beach but glass is a nono to keep the prosecco bottle - Roger-Neil had mimosas pre-made and bottled in plastic bottles in a cooler for us which was above and beyond!! We also loved a sauce we had in one of the restaurants and wanted to use it for late-night food and Reynaldo hooked us up and brought us some, in addition to bringing us his own personal phone charger when we had one break! They were both absolutely amazing - ask for them when you go! - The dive team we worked with (Marvin, Bryan, Mike) were absolutely exceptional and worked hard to give us an awesome experience and get our advanced certification despite some crazy weather that was going on! They were helpful and funny and made the experience so much fun - HUGE shout out to them! - Ronaldo at Hanami and the Jerk shack was so great - loved him! - Damian at Galene always had the biggest smile on his face and would get refills on our cocktails before we even asked!! - Jermaine and Mercina at Zuka were so warm and funny and made it an excellent dining experience! - Clayton at Cascata and Howard at Edessa were both so kind and helpful! - Odario with the security team saw we were heading toward Blum and just offered us a ride which was so kind and just added to the feeling of being taken care of! - Nisalah with the photo team was so funny and kind and joyful - loved having him along on our dive trips as well!! HUGE shoutout to the whole Sandals Dunn's River team - it was an incredible trip and we were very sad to leave!! We will be back! Read less

Enjoyed a Terrific Week at Dunn's River.

My wife and I had a terrific time at Dunn's River. It's a new facility that is well laid out and easy to get around. The dining was excellent. It has a good size beach and couple of good size pools. Entertainment was fine. We enjoy golf and find the course , the pro shop staff, and caddie combined to make is a pleasure to play. If you intend to play, you will need to have a caddie. Ask for Dennis, he was very good. You have the option to take a cart or walk. My wife and I are both 75 and walked the course each time. It's a bit hilly but doable. We would like to have some other people recognized who made our trip especially enjoyable. You should look for these people during your visit. Amanda: Front desk area manager arranged special shuttle transportation so we could enjoy the morning on the beach and play 18 holes of golf in the afternoon. Dahvin: From the Aqua Center took us sailing on a Hobie Cat. Explained all parts of the boat and took us on a scenic ride to a special beach. He was terrific. Santana: Server in the Edessa (Greek) Restaurant. She was very professional and friendly. When we visited a second time, she recalled what we both like to drink and order for entrees. John & JT: Hanami Sushi Restaurant. We stopped there 5 of the 7 nights we were at the resort. They were simply gracious to us each time. They got to know us and would fix us special items without our having to order. They named what they presented as “Mike & Barbara’s Special”. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Gregory: Jerk Shack… took my wife into the kitchen to show her how the chicken/pork was made and cooked. He even gave my wife the recipe to try at home. Rocheen & Gabrielle: Golf Pro Shop… They were very gracious to us and made us feel special each of the three times we played. One time there was a mix-up with the return shuttle and Rocheen would not leave us until the shuttle was able to bring us back to the resort. Sandals Dunn's River

The resort is beautiful and well maintained. It's compact and everything is easily accessible, no matter where you stay, except for a little hike up the hill for the Rum Bar and Blum for coffee and pastries. Upon our arrival we met Randy. He was cordial and friendly and made sure our luggage was delivered to our room promptly and assured us that Iran, one of our Butlers, was on the way. On the way to our room Iran gave us an excellent overview of the resort and where things were relative to our room location. We were over 4 hours later than expected due to an airline computer outage and an unruly passenger, so, we had not eaten all day. He quickly showed us a menu of what was available at the restaurant that was still open and had a tray with plenty of food brought to the room. When he was on duty he was always attentive, punctual, and even threw in some special surprises for us. Our other Butler, Patrone, got sick a couple of days after our arrival and was out sick for the remainder of our trip. While he was on duty he did an excellent job taking care of us. We always had our spot on the beach and our "Dirty Bananas" just after 10 when the bars opened no matter who was working. Nice touches like fresh orange juice and Champaign in the room refrigerator daily so we could make Mimosa's in the morning(before the bars opened at 10 AM) and a cheese and cracker plate for lite snack in the afternoon were greatly appreciated. When Patrone got sick Karel, the Butler supervisor, found us on the beach and introduced our replacement Butler, Eshaan. Karel came by almost everyday to ask how our stay was and if we needed anything. No wonder the Butlers she supervises are so attentive given the example set by their supervisor. Eshaan was always smiling and happy; I called her a little ray of sunshine! I told Karel that Eshaan was the perfect prototype for a Butler, no slight to Iran or Patrone intended. The special touches like Iran getting fresh orange juice and Eshaan going out to get bananas when the resort didn't have any ( I was more than happy to compensate her for that even though she didn’t expect it) so that our Dirty Bananas were made with real bananas not banana liquor, showed us that they were willing to do what it took to insure our stay was exceptional. It was!! The meals in the Italian, Greek and French restaurants were memorable. The pizzas were good and the pastries from Blum were fresh and delicious. The fireworks on New Years Eve were spectacular and from our balcony in the Mammee building it seemed like we were in the middle of them. Karel, Eshaan and Randy were there to tell us goodbye, safe travels and to hurry back. That was appreciated. Read less

Beautiful Sandals Dunn’s River!

Our fourth trip to Sandals Dunn’s River! Resort is gorgeous and staff makes this resort special. A few employees that made our stay more memorable… StacyAnn from Club Sandals always takes care of us to ensure our stay is excellent, Paul from bell hop services remembers us by name each trip, Romaine a server at L’Amande provides exceptional service and makes dinner a notch above. Finally, Salvatore from Cascata went above and beyond by making us our favorite affogato drink and personally delivered it to us in the hotel lobby!
