Lying on a beautiful, long stretch of private beach, the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa sits within 400 lush acres and is home to an 18th-century sugar plantation. A popular feature here is the iconic swimming pool but guests (kids' especially) also love the Sugar Mill Falls Waterpark, which is the largest in Jamaica. Why not grab a tube and float down the ‘lazy river’ or try one of the slides. There’s also a daily kids' club, leaving you with time to recharge in the full-service spa, or why not try out the Championship golf course. A variety of restaurant options with fine dining and sophisticated wine lists are on-site, with the newly renovated Rum Factory a particular hit, as is the Three Palms, overlooking the beautifully landscaped golf course.

I was quite concerned about coming here after reading the two previous months reviews. Service was excellent. O’Neil the fitness director was the best. Botanists from the Hilton diamond desk was a big help. A couple entrees. From the restaurants were below par but when we told our server they were quick to get us something else. The reservation system buying wine to reserve sucked. $42 for a crappy bottle that you could get at total wine for $7 was bad. We only did that once. We usually got a reservation by standing in line for 15 minutes. If the wait is going to be longer they will give you a pager. It really only deserves 4٫5 stars but the kind people that work here made me feel generous Read less

Grounds and facilities: Great! Food: Fine, sometimes very good. Rooms: Not great, hilariously under equipped It's true — the rooms are not great in ways that could be remedied fairly easily. There's a huge empty space that should have a love seat in it. There were zero hooks or towel bars despite enormous amounts of wall space. The bathroom was… Read more
Grounds and facilities: Great! The bathroom was fairly dingy. We had a walk out porch but there was no lights on it, making it challenging to use at night. But the food is overall decent and sometimes good, especially the Jamaican food. The Jerk Pit is great and the Saturday night outside Jamaican buffet was really good. The iced coffee at the coffee shop was very decent! Oddly, the pre-made heat-lamped salmon benedicts on the breakfast buffet were very decent! I heard good things about the Indian food on the buffet as well. Mangoes is very bad! The drinks overall were good as well. The pina colada is not too sweet, the mango and lime daiquiris are good. Avoid the strawberry! The pools are great, the lazy river is very fun, the hot tubs are very hot. The beaches, especially the quiet one, are lovely. The whole place is not too big so it doesn't take you forever to get from one end to the other. Read less

The resort is an older staple on the resort scene in Jamaica and a Caribbean dream holiday for Hilton members. The food is delicious and if you want authentic Jamaican cuisine offering every day this is the spot for variety. The massage by the sea delivered by Arlene was amazing, she is professional and pleasant. The specialty dining at Cinnamon Hill is outstanding, from greeting and introduction at the door by Mr Samuels, to the caressing breezy ambience on the patio or if you desire indoors the elegance and colonial history is evident in the beautiful furnishings. Detailed explanation of the menu both drinks and food is very important which is done without having to ask, this restaurant is an enjoyable casually elegant and comfortable atmosphere everyone should experience at least one or twice during their stay, the steak let me tell you, don’t miss it!
