We spent 6 days at the Calabash and cannot say enough good things about the property, people and our experience. We traveled with a 5 and 4 year old, which is not the norm for this hotel that usually does not allow young kids outside of holidays. However, the hotel went above and beyond in terms of being thoughtful about what a family with young kids would need. We always had earlier meals, earlier turndown, babysitting and the tennis coach even gave a lesson to our kids, which I am sure he rarely ever has kids of that age. I could mention every staff member, but Adele (one of owners), Danique (originally booked our reservation), Stevens (guest experience), George (nighttime bar), Kareem/Vaughn (beach and pool club) were a few of the many who made our trip memorable. Our holiday trip was seamless both on property and with the off-property excursions the hotel booked. Every detail was thought out. Huge thank you to the Calabash Hotel and family. Read less

One of the most beautiful and friendliest hotels we’ve ever been to. Everything was perfect and the staff went beyond to make our stay a fantastic one. I'm not sure where to start, as my trip has been the most amazing restful experience. Originally I was due to visit in 2023 & the hotel team understood my predicament, facilitating my visit in 2024. That did not quite work out either, due to ongoing commitments, yet I finally arrived this month. Every member of the team made me feel most welcome, and for that I say 'thank you' to all of you. My room, room 8 was spacious, comfortable and 'just perfect'. Visiting a fortnight before Christmas / Chanukah meant the hotel was not busy. I felt undisturbed on the beach, and managed to read 4 books in 5 days which is so unlike me. Kareem, Betty Ann, Abigail, Dennis, Michael, George, Elle, Danique, Racquel .. I look forward to my return. Thank you ALL, for caring for me .. it's appreciated. Read less

The rooms are wonderful, the food is great, the staff is fantastic, the beach is lovely. The accolades are never ending and well deserved. Grenada is a beautiful island and the Calabash family works hard to make your visit especially lovely. The spa was also enjoyed by our group. Leaving the hotel, various members of our group took a cooking class at Home Hospitality which was great fun; some went on a rainforest hike and visited Crater Lake and the monkeys, and of course there had to be a snorkeling visit to Flamingo Bay and the underwater sculpture garden (which is better seen by diving), and a tour of the chocolate museum. All of this was arranged by the Calabash staff. We can't wait to return!! Read less

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Calabash Hotel in Grenada! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and set in such lovely surroundings. Our room was tastefully decorated with an elegant, luxurious feel — comfortable and well-appointed with every detail carefully thought out. We had the added bonus of a private plunge pool, which made our stay even more special. It would be perfect for a romantic getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest, kindest people — every single person we encountered made us feel at home. The food was a highlight of our stay, especially our dinner at the Japanese restaurant, Nori, where the dishes were absolutely delicious. We also had breakfast delivered to our veranda, and it was a perfect way to start the day — everything I ate was fresh, flavorful, and delightful. The Calabash truly offers an exceptional experience, and we can’t wait to return! Read less
