The lovely ladies who look after housekeeping are extremely friendly and hardworking as are the guys who look after the luggage maintenance and grounds etc. There is just one thing that lets this hotel down and it’s the inconsistency of the Reception staff which varies from pleasant to downright rude. I won’t bore people with all the examples suffice to say as a paying guest if you politely ask for something it would be nice if you just didn’t get a downright no or be told they are busy and to come back. These aren’t isolated incidents they have happened during our previous stays too. Read less

If you like sleeping , don’t use this hotel. The noise over night is non stop. Either from inconsiderate people walking past the room, or from the place over the road playing loud music but mainly from the hotel cockerel who starts his chorus at 2am each night and goes on all night. On average I slept three hours a night before he started. I’m… Read more

I’ve paid my deposit of 200 Barbados dollars and it still hasn’t been returned. They said that it will be returned. The shower was cold and the room was very basic with outdated decor. The only good thing I can say is that the air-conditioning was good. Please pay back my deposit as you owe it to me.

My two daughters and I arrived at the Time Out Hotel at night after we had a disastrous few days at a self catering apartment which was infested with cockroaches! Pierre who was on the Reception Desk was very helpful and understanding, and accommodated us efficiently, enabling us to complete the last week of our holiday with peace of mind and to really enjoy the rest of our stay. All the other front desk staff, the security guards (Cordell & Nicholas), the room cleaning ladies (Debra, Kim, & the other 2 ladies who cleaned our rm 317, the servers & bar staff in the Rhum Stop bar & restaurant, who served delicious breakfasts. Great location across from Dover beach and reasonably priced cafes, bars and eating places. Read less

Arrived to find out about a security deposit we were not expecting to have to pay (we blame Expedia for this) First night the hotel was woken up by an aggressive man roaming around the hotel waking everyone up at 1/2am. The fire alarm has gone off 4 times since we have been here, mainly at 1am and 5.30am. It goes off so often we ignore it, god… Read more

Hotel bar is okay but expensive for what it is, staff are friendly. If you’re on a budget this hotel is okay, but if you can afford it I would recommend another hotel. I liked the hotel but I wouldn’t come back to this one again (this is my 5th visit to the island and I will be back) Read less
