Highly recommend. Laid back. Lovely staff - Jocelyn in the restaurant was excellent. We had a great holiday and the sea is gorgeous. We had a problem at checkout but swiftly sorted and we were given facilities for a late checkout- always a bonus with a long haul to follow

Caroline always around on hand for any questions, making sure everyone is having a good time, a absolute gem to this place. Room was lovely with a sitting room and bedroom, A/C as well as a ceiling fan above the bed, lovely big balcony with loungers, we over looked the beach bar, so could see the see between the bar and restaurant. Food and Restaurant was excellent, never went hungry plenty on offer at each sitting Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. It was what we were looking for a relaxing 10 days in the sun. Would we return try and stop us. Read less

This is a great resort and good value for money. Food good and varied, loved that the Sunset restaurant was buffet or a la carte some nights. Enids was more rustic in appearance but the food top quality and beautifully presented. Most of the charm of this resort is that it feels authentic, warm and welcoming as were the staff. The bars were great and the drinks and cocktails fab, branded spirits were always available. Pool areas, lawn and sea front had plenty of sun loungers, but the ones in the sun were usually taken before 8am every day! The resort was the smallest we had visited for many years, however it felt spacious and we found that it had more atmosphere in the evenings as the bars, seating areas, stage, floor etc were all in the same area with the restaurant next door. We found the entertainment better than we had had in many years, lots of different but similar acts and a lot of 70s/80s music which suited us. The location was fine for us as I am not very mobile at the moment. Took the reggae bus to Holetown and sat on the beautiful beach and drink in the surfside bar. It didn't bother us that our resort did not have a beach as it clearly says that in the description. However sunsets are lovely on the loungers. Went to Oistins Fish Fry, was a bit of a let down and wasn't really our thing. Can't see the attraction to be honest. All seemed a bit "frantic", busy, noisy and didn't seem as described. Felt it was more to catch a tourist rather than enjoy the locals letting their hair down as it was advertised. Some toilets were awful. Read less

My partner and I have just returned from a blissful 10-day stay at The Club. We found it to be a wonderful small resort, but what makes it truly stand out are the warm staff and the excellent service they give! After reading some of the negative comments here, we had 'realistic' rather than 'high' expectations, but really, we needn't have worried. Without exaggeration, our entire stay was flawless, from check in to check out. We'd book again in a heartbeat! The hotel is conveniently located near Holetown, with public beaches, services, shopping and a bus stop all at walking distance. Check-in was a breeze--rum punch and some nice surprises in our room to highlight our wedding anniversary included. Granted, some of the furniture felt a little tired, but very comfortable nonetheless, and the daily cleaner service was very thorough. We felt at home right away and this was mostly due to the warm welcome of staff members across all roles. Come day 3, bar and restaurant staff already remembered our seating, drink and food preferences, and regularly took the time to engage in genuine conversation with us. We found all of the food to be very fresh, good quality and tasty--regardless of the time of day and whether it was served buffet style or a la carte (which changes from one night to another). The Bajan cuisine at Enid's was excellent and our only regret was that the same menu did come back quite quickly, otherwise we would have dined there even more often. The festive buffet (we celebrated NYE) and beach side BBQ were also highlights. Drinks were prepared from scratch and using premium spirits (especially rum, all from local distilleries). Any cocktails we asked for, whether on or off the drinks menu, were made efficiently, professionally and with a smile. We found the quality of both food and drinks to be superior to what we've experienced elsewhere at a similar price point. The resort sits on the West Coast, which means we were able to observe stunning sunsets every night while enjoying a drink and relaxing on one of the loungers at the man made beach front before heading for supper. We also swam in the ocean daily--the "real" beach is just a few steps down on the left side of the resort (yes, you may have to get your feet wet if it's high tide, but isn't that the point when headed to the beach?). For a small resort, we thought the entertainment was good, and we appreciated that the outdoor entertainment stops at 11pm (and continues inside the piano bar). In spite of being light sleepers, we never heard any nighttime noise in our room. Without wishing to discredit anyone's opinion, we did witness guests complain or be unpleasant with staff for petty reasons, and this made us understand some of the negative comments on here--which we respectfully disagree with. We chose the Club for its authentic and intimate vibe, and were not disappointed in the slightest! The hospitality is among the best--and definitely the warmest and most genuine--we have experienced on holiday! Read less
