Great Location, grounds beautiful so well maintained . Staff excellent . Large 1 bedroom apartment , bed huge , well stocked kitchen . Pure Ocean was perfect for breakfast & enjoyed lunch & a couple of evening meals there too . My only issue was that I would have liked a stronger water pressure for shower .

The hotel location, grounds, staff, cleanliness and food .... and the Beaches/ pools were all top notch... really impressive and exactly as promised in the brochures. Perhaps the rooms could do with some modernising but I think the place has charm the way it is. We liked that we were not bombarded with trips, tours and the like. Only one "BUT" to… Read more

Perhaps the rooms could do with some modernising but I think the place has charm the way it is. We liked that we were not bombarded with trips, tours and the like. Only one "BUT" to report and feel it was my oversight, actually... Arrived on a Mon evening, quick beer, unpack & bed. Next morning we pitch-up for breakfast - we don't have a B&B rate - room only - anyways we thought just grab some food and sort ourselves out on day 1. Staff all friendly and we had some of the Buffet breakfast : omelette and coffee for me... bowl of cereal, bowl of fruit and a coffee for my wife. I had neglected to check the price beforehand and found the bill for this was over $150 ... about £78٫00, or about £35٫00 each. Ho-humm... we live and learn (or not, as the case may be). Read less

I have been bringing mission work camp groups to Barbados for the past 14 years and part of our stay each trip has been at the Divi Southwinds. We consistently have had a great experience. The rooms are spacious and in excellent condition. The staff is cordial, professional, and responsive to our needs. Their spacious green space between the main building and Dover Beach is somewhat unique to other facilities in the area. Being situated on the St. Lawrence Gap affords us numerous eating options. For all of these reasons and more, I keep bring my groups back to the Divi Southwinds. Read less

The pools were great and there were ample sun loungers to be able to get some daily. There was some entertainment including aqua fit, karaoke and bingo which were a fun addition. We loved seeing the parakeets and monkeys daily, this was a highlight for us all. Friendly staff, clean rooms and an all round great resort. We used a local taxi driver called Ezra for the duration of our stay and he was fab. He knew some really great local spots, was extremely friendly and reliable and reasonably priced to get us around the island. I would highly recommend him +1 (246) 234-8176 Read less
