Stayed here for 5 nights and could not fault this hotel! Lovely staff who have excellent service skills. The rooms were spacious with balcony looking out over pools, bar and sea. Large comfortable bed. Excellent showers and good towels. Kitchen had large fridge, microwave and oven. Supermarket was 20 minutes walk away ( Masseys)

However, although we love the Bajan charm of the hotel, it really does need a good lick of paint in the hallways and stairs where the rooms are located. I have read some of the other reviews and actually I found the sunbeds to be very comfortable on the beach. I also agree with the comments about the beach bar, there is only ever one guy on and we had to wait a long time for our drinks, so perhaps this could be something the management can work on, maybe have some extra help, especially during 'Happy hour' which is crazy busy! We ate a lot at he onsite restaurant and always had excellent food, although the service could sometimes be a little slow but then this is Barbados and we're on holiday. The room was always clean and i loved the big gym and the shower facilities when you have a late flight are very welcome. We've booked to go back as we love it so much. Read less

I am giving this resort a 5/5 because there is absolutely no reason not too. Our room was always cleaned daily. Kitchenette was stocked with everything I needed to cook for my family. Rooms ready when we arrived and gave us an extra hour grace period when we checked out. Excellent water activities for my teenagers (thank you Michael and Chris) and they threw an amazing New Years event. It’s exactly what I booked and therefore expected! Read less

It’s definitely not 4 star. Who gives these hotels their star ratings? I’ve just read a previous review by little blue! All I can say is they must of stayed at a different hotel to me. It’s definitely not 4 star. Who gives these hotels their star ratings? I’ve just read a previous review by little blue! All I can say is they must of stayed at a different hotel to me. The staff on reception & restaurant weren’t very pleasant or helpful unless you grovelled to them. There’s slow, slower and stop and there definitely on stop! Gregory on the pool bar which is the main one and only bar was useless & arrogant, he made you feel he was doing you a favour by serving you.Why isn’t management walking round checking? I never saw them once. The food in the only restaurant was just about ok and expensive another bug bear was the plastic glasses on a day and evening, Ok I get it in the interest of health and safety if people have found a new holiday activity of smashing glasses around the place just for hell of it and then sweeping it into the pool Yes I can see this could be a problem 🤪 our room was spacious but tired. The kitchenette was something out of the 70s The beach was lovely if you took away the horrible sun beds and rubbish. See pics. The sea was lovely and clear however not suitable for little ones with high waves most of the time. Another problem I found was the NAUGHTY CORNER!! Yes this is what I nicknamed the smoking bench in the corner! Now I like a cigarette but was told this is the only place I can smoke.I get it not in restaurants, rooms or near others that don’t smoke but how to make your quests feel welcome by sitting them on the Bench and yes a bench without any shade either, just wonderful thank you Bougainvillea. It would be so simple to create a proper smoking area and get this with a table, chairs and ashtray oh how I prayed for an ashtray!! As for Barbados as a whole it’s very expensive and very run down but be rest assured that the regeneration levy you are charged for is been spent wisely ‘Not’ Read less

Overall nothing seriously wrong with the hotel, but a collection of minor issues with staff rudeness and VERY slow service tainted our experience. Pool bar only had one member of staff working there at all times resulting in slow & poor service. Calabash where the presence of Roxanne brought the mood down every visit with her attitude and rudeness. Overall the Hotel has so much to offer but more high level visible management on the ground over seeing day to day running would nip these issues in the bud. Beach side first aid kit was inadequate and not fit for purpose and the Sun beds are so uncomfortable . A few areas to work on to unlock the potential the Hitel has. Read less
