We recently stayed at Barbados beach club, a group of 8 friends. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but went in open minded. On first impressions the hotel is a little run down but clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to eat and drink on our all inclusive package until our room was ready. There was a delay getting into the room due to water issues out of their control but this was not a problem for us as we sat bay the pool and on the beach. Our room was a deluxe pool view and it was extremely clean. A good size with lots of storage: the bathroom was clean and tidy, the shower pressure was not wonderful but it was sufficient. The food was excellent, a different theme every night and plenty of choice. Proper home cooked food. The hotel is small and felt homely, the other hotel customers were all friendly and many had stayed at the hotel on numerous previous occasions. The staff were not all always overly friendly but we found those that weren’t immediately responded well to us after the first encounter. Treat people how you want to be treated. They all work very hard and run a tight ship. The location is perfect right on a lovely beach and easy to access local amenities and the local ZR buses. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future. For a 3 star rated hotel I felt extremely happy with our stay Read less

The resort while clean is dated and unsafe. Our room developed a puddle of water during the night on which my friend tripped and hurt herself. She spent the last couple of days of our vacation in severe pain. Once at home she learned she had a broken lower lumbar requiring surgery. How can a puddle of water appear where there are no other wet areas in the room??? It appears the utilities are outdated and unreliable. Water will quit working. Seldom is wifi available in the rooms. Some guests demanded to change rooms due to unsatisfactory conditions. Recommend - avoid this resort - it is not safe!!!! Read less

A well maintained beach that has free sun beds for use to non residents. The Bach is tidy but could do with a daily litter pick. The bar has a system where by you order your drink at the bar then pay at the hotel reception they give you a ticket which you then give to the bar man. Great place to spend the day.

Staff well dressed in all areas. Food good/service Downside... Very dated, general state of building poor.. ? Health and safety. Some areas not the cleanist, ladies toilets in need of decorated and deep clean lack of loo roll and paper towels on times. Reception desk find it hard to deal with questions or issues depending on who's on duty Don't expect to come here and find luxury, remember the star rating. Room for improvement. It overall holidays are what youake them, and people we met made our holiday...not the hotel. Read less

Huge thanks again to the lovely staff at the BBC, this was our third time there and we have already booked our next stay. It is a small 3star hotel with lovely, friendly staff, a great position on the beach, a good variety of great food and very decent rooms. We can’t wait to return!
