Good Stay. Great Sunrise and Beach. Poor Quality Food

1. No bottled water. The only way of getting drinking water that is not hot, is to either buy water bottles (which defeats the purpose of getting an all inclusive deal) or to walk up to the bar counter and ask for water. Forget about getting an afternoon nap. 4. Food: very, very ordinary. The selection is huge. But the quality is not great. 5. I loved: the live pasta counter 6. The live eggs counter was good, but the eggs were visibly cheap white eggs 7. Some desserts and all the breads were very cheap quality 8. Cleanliness: very good 9. Beach: Great. You can access the whole stretch of the beach. Even the stretch in front of the fancy Bahamar hotel next door. Walk all the way to the pier in under 15-16 minutes. 10. Great sunrise and sun-gazing opportunities! 11. Water & beach cleanliness: great! 12. Guests: everyone was decent and well mannered. No rowdy/intrusive crowds. I visited in Jan 2025. 13. Property: It is an older property. I wish they improved the food quality and I would be back. Otherwise, I would prefer to spend a few hundred dollars more, and visit a better resort. 14. Welcome desk: No one told me anything about the Orientation programme. It was quite half-hearted. 15. Bar at the pool: The bartenders were half hearted. They didn't have much to offer by way of non alcoholic beverages. Not even coconut water! Read less
Breezes Resort All Inclusive was EXCELLENT

This hotel is a little worn, however, the cleanliness, staff and pool/beach more than make up for it. We did a last minute decision trip to this all inclusive resort and were thrilled. If you want Vegas go to the place next door, but if you want a solid resort experience that was excellent try Breezes! Bed was excellent, room spotless, furniture showing some wear, towels a little thin, beach is the best around, pool grill was a delightful bonus with excellent lunches. Awesome from start to finish! My Dad and I just got back from this resort. I am not an all inclusive type of traveler. I havent been to one in years. I find them crowded, impersonal and normally offering weak drinks and lackluster food. I also like to meet some locals when traveling, which doesn't often happen at AIs. The Breezes didn't have any of these issues though. It was quiet, real quiet! I liked that a lot. We didn't have to wait in line once for food or drinks. Somebody did steal my Dad's toast out of the toaster one morning though, hilarious! AI buffets are always SO whitewashed, offering minimal if any local eats. This is not the case here, plenty of delicious islander dishes being served up. The curried goat was my fave. Dont worry, still lots of burgers fries and pizza for people who like to eat as they do at home. All the food we ate was very very good, except the salmon at the garden of eden, I would have much preferred a fillet of local mutton snapper or something, but i get it, that isnt how AIs roll. The drinks were equally good! They have brand name liquors (you have to ask for it, tip well) and the Sands was always cold and fresh tasting out of all 3 taps. The bahama papa was our favourite cocktail. The beach was beautiful. The pool was nice too, although quite cool. We brought a cold front down with us, I would have been in the water more had the weather been warmer. The vast majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful, most definitely well above average in this department! Rooms were very clean, beds comfy, AC and TV worked, what more do you need? We upgraded to one of the poolside ground floor patios. I don't think I would stay here again if I wasnt able to book one of those, the "balconies" off the other rooms made me cringe! I really enjoyed the proximity to Bahamar casino, I even came home a winner! Dad lost to even it out lol. Yep, it's old (the old properties always have the best real estate). Yep, it smells (they all do)! Those are my only 2 "complaints". I would most definitely recommend the Breezes to anyone! Read less
Love Breeze’s

I visited Breezes Resort for the second time in December and it was amazing! The resort has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff are all great. Our rooms were fantastic and we booked a couples massage with the front desk which was spectacular. Highly recommend staying at Breezes, you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: Good value for an all-inclusive resort, beachfront location, plenty of lounge chairs available, day time activities, has an onsite tennis court and small fitness gym, free nightly entertainment, and beautiful garden grounds. Cons: The food is not that good. I would compare it to hospital cafeteria food. The costumer service at the restaurants is very poor. The entire property is in desperate need of repairs and updates. The entertainment was repetitive - the same performer the three nights we were there. They used to have complimentary kayaks and a trapeze years ago but they did not have them anymore when we stayed. Spring breakers and student groups are allowed. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel, with my family, and I was very disappointed to see that it has become very run down compared to our first visit, about 12 years ago. I would describe it as a choice motel rather than a "resort." The worst part was that we were there during grad week so our trip was ruined by loud and rowdy teenagers and drunk young adults. Do yourself a favor and contact the hotel before booking to make sure you are not there when there are confirmed student groups. Despite its flaws, this location is still a good value for anyone wanting to have the Bahamas experience while on a tight budget. Just beware that, as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for."
