Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites

Niagara Falls, Canada

The hotel

Everyone knows ‘waterfall views’ top the hotel wish list for every Niagara visitor. And that’s exactly what Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites delivers. In fact, TripAdvisor voted it in the Top 10 Hotel Rooms Views in the World. But it’s The Watermark Restaurant on the 33rd floor that really provides the photo ops: with its multi-level seating and floor-to-ceiling windows forcing the farm-to-fork menu to take second stage. One floor up and the rooftop Myst Lounge throws in extra selfie spots — and cocktails. Once you’ve had your fill of the falls, you can head to the adjoining Fallsview Casino; the hotel’s chill-out pool with its spiralling waterslide, hot tub, and sauna; or its other dining venues, from an all-you-can eat Brazilian ‘churrascaria’ steakhouse to an all-you-can-eat Southern-style barbecue smokehouse.

Stayed here during ice wine festival and have stayed here before and enjoyed it, but this time unfortunately wasn't the same. Check in process is also not great because its just so busy, even if you come 45 mins-1 hour past the check out time, the line is still 30-40 mins in line. They want you in/out, they don't try to get personal or even explain what amenities the hotel has, its just sent to you by text, which is fine, but its not a bad thing to get a personal experience from an actual human. If you booked through a third party, you aren't able to check in through your phone which would have been nice to know. The standard king room here is awful, tiny, no view at all, and even no toiletries or basic items in the room. Not even cups in the bathroom, or an extra mirror, absolutely nothing in the bathroom, beyond lotion/shampoo/conditioner that is mounted to the wall. The room itself is so small, its truly unbelievable. Parking is $50 for self parking, and $75 for valet I believe, absolutely insane but these days standard for the average Niagara Falls property. The casino does offer parking for $50 which is a covered garage and connected through the 5th floor, however there are no in and out privileges. The location of the property is great because it is connected to the casino, and the restaurant onsite Corso, is lovely. I used to love coming here and felt the staff were more personable, but this is just not the case anymore. If you visit, make sure you book a fallsview room, the standard room is just awful. Besides going to see Niagara Falls, you don’t have to even leave the Hilton because there is so much on the grounds here to do from Water sliding to enjoying your beautiful colour coordinated room that is super modern and up to taste and a great value, there’s lots of shopping, and most of all my favourite part was the restaurants there’s many to… Read more

I forget what it’s called, but it had dark beams inside of it and it was candle lit. That was really fun and it was a great night out. Read less

We spent 31st night at this place, it’s really great location for viewing the Niagara Falls. You can get a room with falls view, the American falls is right in front of the bedroom window ( high ceiling windows). You will see half of the Horseshoe falls. We were able to see the lights on the falls as well as the fireworks from the room itself.

My stay at the Hilton Niagara Falls was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First, the air conditioning in our original room was not working, and the temperature soared to an unbearable 90 degrees. After hours of discomfort, we were finally moved to another room—at *1 a.m.*, no less. To make matters worse, the elevator we used to move our luggage malfunctioned. Once inside, we pressed the button, but the elevator refused to move or open the doors. We were stuck and had to press the emergency button to get out. When we finally reached our “upgraded” room, the nightmare continued. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, which was shocking given that there was a “no smoking” sign right outside. The stench made it impossible to relax and ruined any hope of salvaging the night. On top of these issues, the hotel itself feels outdated and run-down, except for one of the towers and the lobby. It’s clear that this property does not live up to the standards of a vacation hotel, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. Save your money and stay elsewhere—this Hilton does not deserve your business. Read less
