Gorgeous and historic hotel

A fantastic time at the Banff springs. An amazing hotel for both adults only and families. We had delicious drinks in the cozy Rundle Room, and a great dinner in the lively downstairs of Waldhaus. The spa and outdoor pool were both wonderful as well. We will make this an annual trip!

Struggle to put into words how highly I would recommend this hotel! Booked for my wedding anniversary and may make it a yearly event. Fabulous staff who cater to your every need and food that is to die for. Did not get a chance to try out there spa, looks great so maybe next time!

Magnificent in all it's baronial splendour, everyone should stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs at least once in a lifetime. We have been lucky enough to stay a number of times over the years and yet the historical decor of the public rooms still never fails to impress. You can probably spend a day just exploring this huge hotel discovering lots of interesting nooks and crannies as well as shopping in the lovely little stores. On the accommodation side, we have generally found the rooms to be comfortable but small with extremely tiny bathrooms. If you are able to book a suite it is probably worth the upgrade if space is important to you. We love the heated indoor/outdoor pool to gaze up at the stars at night. The restaurants here are top notch and the breakfast buffet is sumptuous. There are also lots of activities on offer making the daily resort fee worthwhile. If you have time also check out some of the cozy bars scattered about the property. Read less
Good and bad

Our room was nice enough, although the bathroom was very small. We enjoyed the hotel but found the service in the Rundle Bar lacking. The bar tenders couldn't/wouldn't take drink orders, the wait staff often ignored members of our group so some missed out on getting drinks, meals were mixed up etc. Given the size of the hotel having half… Read more

Spectacular Property, worth every penny for the scenery alone

This is still one of my favorite properties on earth. Winter or summer you never get better views, service or facilities. This property has been setting standards for 150 years, and continues to perform. You can explore the property for days and still find new nooks and crannies. Whatever the rate (it's high), it is worth every penny. Don't… Read more
This is still one of my favorite properties on earth. Winter or summer you never get better views, service or facilities. This property has been setting standards for 150 years, and continues to perform. You can explore the property for days and still find new nooks and crannies.
